What to Expect
As an Aircraft Captain (Director, Captain), you will be entrusted with the safe, efficient, and expert operation of company aircraft in support of global aviation operations. You'll lead flight crews, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the highest standards of safety and service, representing the organization to senior leaders, guests, and team members. This role demands adaptability, technical mastery, and decisive leadership in dynamic environments.
What You'll Do
Operate company aircraft safely and proficiently as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for international and domestic flights
Lead and promote teamwork within the aviation department, providing direction and removing obstacles to get work done
Attend and conduct preflight briefings, reviewing complex flight plans and identifying operational issues
Perform mandatory preflight checks, verifying aircraft readiness and system integrity
Plan flights, select safe and efficient routes, and develop contingency plans
Monitor instruments, communicate with air traffic controllers, and steer the aircraft, making timely decisions to ensure safety and compliance
Scan internal and external environments to identify and resolve emerging issues in accordance with standard operating procedures
Take command during in-flight emergencies, implementing prescribed protocols and innovative solutions as needed
Complete postflight briefings, reporting defects and sharing lessons learned with crew and management
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices
Maintain preparedness to operate as trip captain anywhere in the world on short notice
Support flights with the highest regard for guests, senior leaders, and team members, reflecting exceptional service
Complete records and logbook entries, and manage operational documentation
Stay current with emerging technologies, regulations, and industry trends through ongoing professional development
What You'll Bring (Required Experience)
Legally authorized to work in job posting country
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of documented aviation experience, including wide-body aircraft operations
Airline Transport Pilot FAA Certificate, multi-engine land rating, with 3,000+ hours flight time and 1,000+ hours as PIC and turbojet experience
Experience in military, corporate, or airline flight operations
Passport with unrestricted international travel
Ability to communicate effectively with crew, air traffic control, and stakeholders
Adaptive mindset and digital literacy, thriving in changing environments and leveraging technology for operational excellence
What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred Experience)
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Experience in advanced technology cockpits (EFIS, FMS systems) and world-wide flight operations
1,000+ hours on Gulfstream G600 or equivalent advanced cockpit experience
Completion of high-altitude physiological training
Demonstrated courage and action orientation--addressing tough challenges with urgency and enthusiasm
Recognized expertise in aircraft operations management, passenger safety, and flight data analysis
Compensation Range
$214,200-$261,800
