Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, maintenance, and equipment repair. This role requires the ability to read schematics and provide leadership on various projects within the construction and maintenance sectors. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all air conditioning units are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues with air conditioning systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Provide leadership during installation projects, ensuring that all work is completed to high standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.

Experience

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in the HVAC industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of air conditioning equipment. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. Previous leadership experience in a construction or maintenance environment is advantageous. A solid understanding of safety protocols and best practices in the HVAC field.
