Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, result-oriented team player with a strong background in ML and hands-on experience in software development to join our team. Our mission is to advance the state-of-art reasoning and optimization techniques for improved accuracy and efficient inference. Thus, the ideal candidate for this position is a researcher and engineer who will relentlessly push the existing boundary with out-of-box thinking and materialize the idea with the very details to impact both Apple partners and research communities.

Description

Research and applied work in LLM reasoning, planning, tool use, agentic LLMs, and related topics


Work on the next generation of LLM and VLM architectures and reasoning models

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in tool use, agentic LLMs, RAG



Experience with processing multiple modalities (i.e., audio/vision) with Foundational Models



Experience with efficient inference, HW/SW co-design, performance optimization



Experience with Jax programming



Understanding ML accelerations and architectures

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in CS or related fields



Quality publications in LLM Reasoning and Planning (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc)



Expert in PyTorch/Python programming



Experience with Large-scale model training/tuning
