Assistant to General Manager
Duties:
- Assistant General Manager oversees daily operations of the establishment under supervision of GM.
- Interview, hire, and train new staff members
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supervise staff members and provide guidance and support
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
Skills:
- Strong interviewing skills to effectively assess potential candidates for employment
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and able to accurately manage financial transactions
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions
- Experience including event planning and execution
- Proven supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of food production processes, including proper storage, handling, and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional hospitality experiences
College Degree preferred in hospitality management. Minimum of 5 years of experience.
-On feet most of day. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs for boxes, trays, etc, -- Wiling to fill in any position when needed
