The Agile Product Management Senior Manager is responsible for facilitating the delivery of technology solutions by leading, developing and empowering a team of Technical Product Owners for our Enterprise Operational Command Center (EOCC.) The Sr. Manager uses department objectives and metrics to manage performance, drive continuous improvement and provide guidance and feedback to product teams to ensure delivery of business value.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a change agent to drive transformation and continuous improvement. Partners with scrum masters, coaches, and Engineering leadership to employ a metrics-based approach to identify opportunities and optimize team performance. Identifies and assists TPOs with the implementation of strategies to achieve performance goals.
  • Leads and develops the Technical Product team ensures that overall department objectives are achieved and business value is delivered for a defined group of technical products. Enables and engages TPOs by managing individual and team development plans to advances skills and team maturity.
  • Collaborates with business product owners and stakeholders to initiate new business initiatives, supports the development of business program specifications and business case, works with Technology teams to estimate financial requirements.
  • Collaborates across functional, operational and technology groups to ensure the right people are engaged and assists with key stakeholder negotiations. Serves as an escalation point to mitigate issues, remove impediments and resolve
Qualifications
  • High School diploma; Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • Reporting tool expertise (Jira, Tableau, etc.) essential
  • Experience or understanding of Infrastructure Operations
  • Prior Project/Product Management experience in the software engineering space highly preferred
  • Knowledge of user experience and solution design essential
  • A high degree of comfort in a fast-paced dynamic/ambiguous environment
  • Proven skill at balancing technical knowledge with business possibility and acumen
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Software Engineering Compliance, and Cigna Information Protection
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and built out new ideas
  • Passionate member advocate with the ability to identify and meet customer needs within the agile framework
