Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega
Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Anchorage, AK. Belonging to the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Chronos has a culture rooted in integrity, respect, and exceptional performance. Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.

The Agile Implementation Engineer shall transform the System Program Office\xe2\x80\x99s current disparate legacy business processes and implement modern, unified Agile and Lean Engineering processes, leveraging automated workflow management tools, to achieve speed and efficiency within the acquisition lifecycle. The Agile Implementation Engineer shall also provide training, coaching, and advisement to the stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for migrating all existing documentation to JIRA and Confluence
  • Shall analyze current workflow processes and re-baseline them utilizing JIRA and Confluence
  • Shall provide training on the workflow management tools, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Shall train and maintain all implemented processes, procedures, and workflows within the Systems Program Office Operations Manual
  • Perform analysis of each functional process utilizing Agile toolsets and determine a more agile/efficient way to perform it
  • Shall provide incremental updates to the customer using Epics, Features, and Sprints methods
  • Establish an Agile Team and designate Agile roles as well as identify and establish Agile Artifacts and Agile Ceremonies
  • Shall perform documented and approved functional tests or demonstrations to verify all technical performance measures are met
  • Create functional dashboards to visualize program and project-level static and dynamic and static data in both Jira and Confluence
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited university
  • Combination of 5 years experience or 7 years of directly relevant experience instead of education
  • A minimum of 5 years of Lean Engineering/Agile experience
  • One or more Agile certifications
  • Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist, etc.
  • Atlassian Certifications in JIRA and Confluence desired and demonstrated ability to build JIRA and Confluence instances from baseline
  • Baseline IAT II desired
  • Must be a US citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience with Department of Defense-approved cybersecurity requirements, required hardware & software, and interoperability between scripts and information systems
  • Must understand Lean and Agile terminology and definitions as defined in the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience with both software and other business process project management
  • Ability to deliver monthly Sprint Roadmap Schedule (SRS)
  • Ability to train others
  • Advanced skills in problem-solving
  • Good work ethic and active desire to learn
  • Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements
