Job Summary and Qualifications
The Agile Coach is a senior-level role responsible for leading enterprise-wide agile transformation efforts. This role mentors and develops junior colleagues, coaches leaders, and supports teams across multiple domains to adopt agile practices that align with business objectives. The Capability Lead drives strategic planning, training, and tooling integration to ensure scaled agility, technical excellence, and customer-centric delivery across the organization.
What you will do in this role:
Mentor and manage junior Agile Coaches/SMs across domains; foster talent development
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews and retrospectives when needed
Support cross-domain collaboration, prioritization, and dependency management
Define and implement backlog refinement standards across domains
Coach leadership, Product Owners, and teams on aligning work (epics, features, stories) with OKRs
Lead strategic training and agile enablement initiatives across domains
Define and drive enterprise-level OKR alignment and integration into agile frameworks
Guide MVP framing, strategic planning, and roadmap standardization efforts
Oversee Agile bootcamp rollout, content quality, and training standardization
Establish onboarding frameworks for Agile roles and measure training impact
Coach domain leads on MVP building, roadmap design, and quality release planning
Use performance metrics to identify trends and systemic gaps; coach leaders on data-driven decisions
Drive technical agility strategies (BDD/TDD, DevOps mindset, engineering KPIs)
Foster a culture of customer centricity, innovation, and scalable value creation
Lead ADO (Azure DevOps) training, governance standards, and integration with agile practices
Design and implement enterprise dashboards for visibility and flow optimization
Prior experience in training in coaching methodologies, leadership development, or change management
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field - Required
Master's degree - Preferred
7-10 years of experience in Agile transformation, coaching, and delivery leadership within technology environments - Required
Proven experience leading Agile practices across complex, cross-functional environments - Required
Extensive experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and OKR alignment - Required
Background in managing technical agility (e.g., DevOps, BDD/TDD) and performance metrics - Required
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
Agile Coaching certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Scrum Master/PO certifications) - Required
DevOps or technical agility certifications a plus (e.g., IC Agile DevOps Foundation or implementation, SAFe Devops) - Preferred
