Butler Machinery is seeking an outgoing and motivated individual to join our Ag Technology Group in a supportive role as an Intern. This position involves assisting with Ag equipment and Precision Ag sales, marketing initiatives, and customer support activities. Responsibility:

Assist with setting up, operating, and analyzing demonstrations of machinery and technology Development and execution of simple on-farm demonstrations and data collection to showcase new technologies Create training material for various technology tools Showcase features and capabilities of offboard tools Assist product specialists with technology installations and machine startups Assist and travel with Sales team to customer sites to showcase equipment and technology. Train on Butler Machinery sales processes and techniques. Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC. Other duties as assigned by the Ag Division Manager/Ag Technology Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Individual who is working towards a degree in Ag Systems Management, Ag or Mechanical Engineering or other related major in college preferred. Problem solving skills. Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills are required. Good customer relations and communication skills - both written and verbal are essential. Be willing to travel to customer sites with overnight stays Must be able to meet and maintain insurable driving status. Internship would be full-time hours during the summer.
