CMNTY is seeking to hire an energetic and impactful Program Manager to lead and coordinate engaging educational and recreational activities for youth in our Afterschool Academy.

As a Program Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality activities aligned with SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) goals.
Duties
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of afterschool programs using program management methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Supervise program staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to build a motivated and skilled team.
Develop comprehensive program curricula that incorporate social-emotional learning and physical activity tailored to diverse youth populations.
Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and vendor management to ensure seamless program delivery while maintaining strict adherence to budget constraints through cost control measures.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders including parents, community partners, school officials, and funders to gather requirements, share progress updates, and negotiate partnerships.
Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Teams for task management, scheduling, and documentation of program activities.
Oversee compliance with safety protocols and licensing requirements; manage contracts with vendors and service providers ensuring quality standards are met.
Employ data collection and analysis skills to evaluate program outcomes; prepare reports on participation metrics, impact assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the project management lifecycle.
Lead process mapping sessions to streamline workflows; facilitate conflict management strategies to resolve team or participant concerns effectively.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in educational or youth programs with demonstrated leadership capabilities in team management and program coordination.
Project management experience; proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft 365 is preferred.
Experience in program development from design through implementation..
Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings confidently; adept at technical writing for reports and documentation.
Skilled in data analysis and data collection tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards within scope and budget constraints.
Strong organizational skills paired with conflict resolution abilities; adept at negotiation and stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.
Familiarity with safety regulations applicable to youth programs.
