Summary
- Creative Kids Adventures offers an afterschool program at Grantham elementary school in Grantham, NH. We provide after school care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade within the school building. Our mission is to create a warm, welcoming and positive environment for children after school and during no school days. We have a strong belief in children exploring the natural environment outside their school as well as leading various games and activities based on the interests of the children enrolled. Daily and weekly activities will be offered that allow for small group, large group, creative thinking and physical movement so there is something for everyone.
Duties
- The After School Teacher would assist the Site Director in the following ways:
- Ensure proper adult/student ratios are being followed
- Engage with students with encouragement, enthusiasm and professionalism
- Implement planned activities provided by the Site Director
- Ensure a smooth transition to and from the program for all students
- Assist with opening and closing duties within the program
- Serve Snacks
- Support children to work through challenging situations as they arise with compassion and understanding
Requirements
Be able to work after school hours of 3:00-5:30 p.m. Be over the age of 16 to be considered for After School Teacher. Meet the NH Child Care Licensing requirements for the position being held (fingerprints, background checks, etc.).
Nice To Haves
Prior experience working with school age students and some education in the field of ECE or Elementary Education would be helpful.
