Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated
Enrichment Instructors
to join our team. Instructors will be responsible for leading engaging and educational activities for students in grades TK-12 in a structured after-school program. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children, a passion for enrichment and education, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As an
Enrichment Instructor
, you will help students grow academically, socially, and creatively by leading fun, hands-on activities across various subjects. You will support skill-building, encourage teamwork, and inspire personal growth. Additionally, you will work with staff to create an engaging and meaningful after-school experience that supports student development and aligns with program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Lead Enrichment Activities:
Design and facilitate hands-on activities in arts, STEM, sports, and academic support, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and student engagement.
Create a Positive Learning Environment:
Encourage participation, teamwork, and social-emotional development in an inclusive and supportive space.
Supervise and Ensure Student Safety:
Maintain a structured and respectful environment, managing behavior and adhering to school and program policies.
Manage Materials and Resources:
Set up, organize, and maintain program supplies to support effective instruction.
Collaborate with Staff and Families:
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to align enrichment activities with student needs and educational goals.
Follow Safety and Program Guidelines:
Uphold district policies, administer first aid as needed, and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching in an after-school environment.
Experience in teaching or coaching in
Arts (e.g., creative arts, digital arts etc), Sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, ), or STEM (e.g., coding, robotics, game development)
.
Provide individualized assistance to students during homework sessions to promote academic success.
Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
Ability to adapt lessons and activities to different skill levels and age groups.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and the ability to work onsite at the camp location.
Ability to pass a background check and livescan.
Ability to provide negative TB scan
Ability to submit proof of CPR and First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation and a
valid driver's license
.
Availability for the duration of August 2025 - May 2026
