We\'re Kama\'aina Kids, Hawai\xca\xbbi\'s Enrichment & Education Professionals since 1987. We\'re looking for new team members to help us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of our youngest learners! Bring your love of children and positive energy to our dedicated and caring team. While prior work experience with children is helpful, it is not required. We will provide full training for the right candidate!

Position Summary:
Kama\'aina Kids is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Group Leaders in our After School programs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a group of students during our after-school program hours.

Hours:
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 1:30 or 2pm until 5:30pm. Hours may vary slightly by school and program needs. However, No Evenings or Weekends!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and engage in after-school activities.
  • Help develop and implement age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, and educational projects.
  • Ensure that all students are accounted for and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of the program.
  • Establish support and appropriate relationships with children and their families, providing daily updates to parents/guardians .
  • Care for and maintain facilities and equipment used by the group, with a focus on hygiene standards.
  • Attend and participate in all required training and meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No experience required, full training provided
