The ASE Attendance Monitor is an energetic, detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and experienced individual whose primary responsibility is to accurately manage and record the daily attendance of all participants at their assigned site. This includes both the students' transition to after-school and their departure to home, organizing club lists, and maintaining attendance for enrichment programs. The position requires consistent use of technology and digital tools to manage attendance records, communicate with staff and families, and ensure program data accuracy. The Attendance Monitor must be able to navigate multiple software systems, including email platforms, spreadsheets, and web-based management systems, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Working under the direction of the site supervisor, this role also supports the supervisor in organizing enrichment and club activities each day including securing locations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring team members are developing club curriculum. While the Attendance Monitors primary responsibilities are operational, the position includes a leadership component that requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to learn and apply organizational policies and procedures effectively. The individual in this role is expected to demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and the capacity to support program operations in a manner that reflects the standards and values of Milton Community Schools. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, for the 2025-2026 school year.
Ability to commit to MF, 2:305:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m.6:00 p.m. on occasional early dismissal days). Core Responsibilities: Maintain accurate daily attendance records for all participants and track transitions into and out of the after-school program and enrichment classes to ensure student safety and correct counts.Support the site supervisor in organizing daily enrichment and club activities: confirm and secure locations, prepare and restore spaces, coordinate equipment and supplies, and communicate room changes.Ensure all club staff are developing and progressing on curriculum: monitor curriculum completion, provide reminders and resources, and follow up with team members to support lesson planning.Set up and close up program spaces each day (clean tables, put away supplies, secure windows/doors, tidy common areas).Communicate daily happenings, attendance issues, and logistics updates to the site supervisor in a timely manner.Provide on-site support supervising youth and staff; assist the supervisor in maintaining a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for children and staff.Engage and support students during program clubs and activities.Build positive relationships with program families and school staff; communicate professionally and courteously about attendance and program needs.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, maintain confidentiality, and report concerns promptly.Be a reliable team player with a positive, professional, and approachable demeanor; remain energetic and on your feet during shifts, including going outside with participants as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor and director.
