Join our dedicated team as an After Hours Personal Care provider, where your compassionate support and vigilant care make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing assistance during evening and overnight hours. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide personalized care, ensure safety, and promote independence for residents with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, memory impairments, or requiring long-term care.

Duties

Provide personalized assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall well-being; document findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medication administration following prescribed care plans and ensure proper storage and documentation. Support residents with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; perform heavy lifting as needed to ensure safety. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Conduct regular patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, especially for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism spectrum disorders. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control protocols. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents during overnight shifts, including calling emergency services when necessary. Collaborate with team members to update care plans and communicate resident needs effectively. Uphold all privacy standards and confidentiality requirements in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred. Communication skills to interact empathetically with residents and team members while maintaining confidentiality. Flexibility to work evening shifts or overnight shifts.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 30 per week
