SkinScience Medical Spa is a luxury, fast-paced, physician-run, award-winning medical spa in the Bay Area. We are well known for our great customer service and beautiful, natural aesthetic results. We are looking for an experienced NP or PA to join our team! Main services include injectables, PDO threads, lasers, micro-needling, and chemical peels. Requirements: Deliver Excellence in Service and Care
- Provides safe and excellent care and service as outlined in our standardized operating procedures
- Possesses a thorough understanding of cosmeceutical products
- Displays comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy and the physiology of the skin and underlying tissue
- Demonstrates understanding of and experience with the latest aesthetic protocols and procedures
- Communicates with patients in a sensitive, respectful, and non-judgmental manner as well as provides clarity around pre and post-care instructions
- Applies teaching and counseling techniques to skillfully address each patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs across a wide variety of aesthetic service offerings
- Skillfully uses active listening to collect information and maintain a customer-centered focus
- Demonstrates ability to quickly build relationships with people with varying backgrounds, personalities, temperaments, and needs
- Assesses patient\'s general health, psychosocial status and needs related to cosmetic procedures
- Conducts productive, efficient patient consultations
- Passion for the potential for medical aesthetics to positively transform the lives of patients
- Superb interpersonal skills\xe2\x80\x94a customer-focused \xe2\x80\x9cpeople person: \xe2\x80\x9d an active listener, empathetic, sensitive, upbeat, optimistic, articulate, gracious, tactful, and service minded
- Exudes warmth, empathy, authenticity, positivity and confidence with patients
- A learner\xe2\x80\x99s mindset: curiosity, ongoing desire to improve, and dedication to teaching
- Adaptability and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Ability to cultivate and maintain a positive, thriving team dynamic
- An entrepreneurial passion for building a best in class medical aesthetics practice
- At least 2 years experience working in aesthetics. Experience with injectables botox/dysport, dermal filler, PDO threads, lasers and microneedling.
