Aerial Lineman (Telecom Construction)

We're looking for experienced Aerial Linemen to join our growing aerial construction division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with fiber and coax construction in the field -- setting poles, lashing strand, pulling fiber, and performing maintenance on overhead lines. You'll be responsible for safe, efficient aerial builds alongside a groundhand and bucket operator, maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain aerial fiber optic and coax cable on poles and strand Lash fiber, install hardware, anchors, and guy wires as needed Safely climb poles using hooks and belts or work from a bucket truck Read and interpret construction prints, work orders, and maps Perform pole transfers, overlash, and mid-span installs Maintain tools, rigging, and equipment in good working order Train and direct Groundhands as part of a small crew Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients regarding job progress
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in aerial telecom construction (fiber or coax) Ability to climb poles safely and use proper fall protection Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred) Clean background and ability to pass drug screening Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions Understanding of NESC standards, utility spacing, and safe work practices Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
