Title: AdvoCATE Software Developer (REMOTE POSSIBLE) KBR is looking for an AdvoCATE Software Developer to work in a small, agile team either on-site at KBR\xe2\x80\x99s offices in Sunnyvale, CA, or working fully remote. The Software Developer will join the team that develops and maintains an Eclipse-based toolset that represents the state of the art in automation technologies for assurance case development. The application domain for this tool is safety and mission assurance of complex autonomous systems, such as unmanned aircraft and autonomous underwater vehicles. The focus of the project will be extending this tool to address reviews of assurance cases. This will involve development of DSLs and design of dialogs to support the review process, while also contributing to the web platform. Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 3 + years of related experience
• Substantial experience designing, writing, documenting, and testing software using Java
• Domain-specific modeling and model-driven software engineering
• Proven ability as a developer on an agile team, working on a large code base in a software development organization, and with version control, testing, and automated build environments
• Ability to work independently in a research-based environment
• Excellent spoken and written English language communication skills

Desired Experience & Skills: Experience developing web apps Open-source development experience Familiarity with UI design, e.g., using the Sirius graphical framework Expertise with Eclipse plugin development, building upon the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) and the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF), and Eclipse Theia Familiarity with Domain Specific Language (DSL) design and development, using Xtext, ANTLR, or related frameworks KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
