How You Can Contribute
Your role as the Advancement Services and Data Manager will be all about making our data trustworthy and our tools hum. You'll run the CRM, clean the lists, map the integrations, and ensure gifts flow correctly from our digital platforms, allowing the team to identify what is working and scale it.
What You'll Do
Own the data backbone by keeping a coding schema and ensuring the database is audit-ready and easy to use
Maintain seamless gift processing by monitoring, building clean batches, fixing exceptions, and coordinating deposit and reconciliation.
Ensure donations, registrations, and sponsorships are coded currently and routed to the associated destinations correctly
Support campaigns and dashboards as needed by publishing clear monthly reports, dashboards, and lists
Manage user-roles, enforce privilege access, and perform quarterly permission reviews, along with maintaining basic audit logs.
Establish and maintain journey workflows with weekly suppression and error reports provided as needed.
Assist our annual Giving Day by providing phonathon support and ensuring data stays flowing and clean
Protect donor data by following access controls and data handling guidelines

What Success Looks Like
Maintain accuracy of data and donor records to support effective communication and outreach
Leadership receives regular, trustworthy reports that provide insight into fundraising progress and donor engagement
Key systems and tools work smoothly together, with information flowing reliably and being reconciled as needed
Team members are well-trained and empowered to use systems correctly with transparent processes and permissions in place
Qualifications
Experience working in the fundraising and/or development field
Demonstrated ability in communicating "how the data works."
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Hands-on experience with a fundraising CRM (Raiser's Edge NXT preferred) and online giving/event tools (GiveSmart, Online Giving/Online Express, or similar)
Familiarity working in Excel/Power Query, Blackbaud Merchant Services/Financial Edge, or phonathon data flows
