This role will play a key part in shaping workforce strategies, overseeing talent development programs, and collaborating with government, industry, and education stakeholders to promote upskilling and training in the advanced manufacturing sector.
This individual will also serve as a public-facing thought leader in manufacturing workforce development, representing the organization at key events, managing teams, and driving proposal development and execution of programs.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new programs and funding opportunities that support workforce and talent development in advanced manufacturing.
Manage a high-performing team and oversee daily program operations.
Design, implement, and execute workforce development strategies.
Build partnerships with federal agencies, state entities, OEMs, national labs, and educational institutions.
Lead proposal research, writing, and program planning to secure funding opportunities.
Collaborate with technical and training teams to define project requirements and support execution.
Conduct presentations, develop technical content, and represent the organization on advisory boards and at conferences.
Create internal and external communications that align with program goals and the organization's mission.
Manage budgets, program documentation, performance tracking, and reporting for ongoing projects.
Ensure compliance with internal safety policies and training protocols.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, technology, business, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in managing workforce/talent development programs.
Technical experience in at least one of the following: smart manufacturing, AI, additive manufacturing, engineering design, data science, or nondestructive testing.
U.S. Citizenship to meet ITAR compliance requirements.
Preferred:
Master's degree.
Familiarity with DoD, DOE, and federal contract mechanisms including OTAs.
Industry experience in aerospace, defense, or naval manufacturing.
Demonstrated success in the design, launch, and implementation of workforce or training programs.
