Responsible for supporting activity programs which meet the physical, mental, psychosocial and spiritual needs of the participants. Is responsible for performing duties in compliance with recognized policies and procedures. Must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to clients, caregivers and coworkers at all times.

Duties:

Assess, care plan, and document for a case load of clients as assigned. Assist with ADLs, bathing, dressing, toileting, and other various activities. Responsible for planning innovative and educational programs and outings for clients. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned; take vitals, serve, and clean up after meals, etc.

JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Have graduated High School One-year Direct Care experience Have experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia

WORK SCHEDULE

The Program Assistant position is located within Mission Today, which is our adult day break program. This position is

Full-time

starting between the hours of 8:00am and 9:30am and ending between the hours of 3:30pm and 5:00pm.

No Weekend or Evening hours.
