Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervises, trains, and evaluates Adult Community Support Specialists Program to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with DMH standards. Provides clinical oversight and guidance to CSS staff regarding appropriate behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, vocational, and daily living skills. Coordinates with family members and serves as a liaison between community resources, vocational settings, and outpatient treatment teams to provide comprehensive treatment. Develops and leads outreach activities to promote adult mental, emotional, and social well-being programs throughout Jackson County. Develops and supervises adult peer support programs throughout the service area. Reviews and approves documentation in case note format to justify treatment needs. Oversees completion and submission of service logs per agency policy. Ensures case record documentation is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely across the CSS program. Facilitates and leads clinical staffing sessions. Establish protocols for staff to respond to clients' needs in an appropriate and timely manner. Creates and maintains a positive work environment through appropriate leadership and team-building strategies. Manages a reasonable personal caseload of clients

Education & Qualification Requirements

Required

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related behavioral health field. Minimum of two (3) years of experience working with adults in a treatment setting. Eligible for Community Support Specialist certification through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
Preferred

Current Mississippi professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred Previous supervisory experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of DSM and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Pay: $21.63 - $31.25 per hour
