Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center is currently seeking a skilled, compassionate, dedicated, and driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to welcome our ever-growing team!

Essential job functions of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

Ensures 24-hour provision of nursing services within federal, state, and company requirements based on the acuity of residents. Maintains standards of nursing services within the expectations of the Nurse Practice Act. Acts on behalf of the Director of Nursing Services in her absence. Ensures the exchange of essential information necessary for the provision of quality resident services. Ensures that all documentation necessary for quality resident care is maintained according to federal, state, and company policy, Reviews daily assignments with the Director of Nursing Services, RN Supervisors, and Charge Nurses. Monitors nursing personnel performance. Makes daily rounds, identifies problems, initiates corrective actions and monitors follow-up. Supports the overall goals of the company and facility. Provides counseling and disciplinary action to all levels of nursing personnel as the situation warrants. Makes recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services if further disciplinary action is warranted.

Requirements of the

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing Maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in long-term nursing supervision, including direct care of the aged or chronically ill.
