SAI Residential Treatment Center is an Adolescent Behavioral Health facility committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to youth experiencing emotional, behavioral and psychiatric challenges. Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Director who is a licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC) with at least five years of experience in the behavioral health field preferably with high acuity adolescents and a residential treatment setting. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with deep clinical insight, strong organizational skills, and a passion for program development and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight for all therapeutic services within the residential program.
Ensure treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning meet all CARF and HCQC accreditation standards, as well as state and federal regulations.
Oversee and mentor the clinical team, including individual therapists and family therapists.
Monitor and support the quality of clinical documentation and adherence to timelines.
Implement evidence-based practices (DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care) and ensure integration of therapeutic modalities throughout programming.
Track and evaluate clinical outcomes and program effectiveness.
Participate in staff training, performance evaluations, and ongoing program development.
Serve as a clinical liaison during audits, surveys, and reviews.
Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to promote continuous learning and growth.
Engage with families and guardians, facilitating communication and involvement in the treatment process.
Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback, making adjustments as needed to improve services.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy. Clinical Counseling or a related field is required;
Active Nevada license
Minimum five years of experience providing therapy and clinical oversight and behavioral health.
Experience working with high-acuity adolescents required; residential experience strongly preferred.
In-depth understanding of CARF, HCQC, and state accreditation standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
