Guiding New Beginnings: Connecting People to Care and Community




Be the welcoming face and knowledgeable guide for individuals and families exploring long-term care options. As the

Admissions Counselor

, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to showcase the full spectrum of services, from Independent Living to Nursing Care, through engaging tours and personalized support. You'll play a key part in maintaining optimal occupancy by managing waitlists, coordinate seamless move-ins, overseeing unit readiness, and ensuring all admission documentation is completed with care and precision. Your efforts directly support new residents in starting the next chapter of life with confidence, comfort, and dignity.




Your responsibilities will include:




Delivers Exceptional First Impressions:

Responds promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via phone and email.

Leads Engaging Campus Tours:

Showcases Independent Living, Personal Care, and Nursing Care accommodations.

Manages the Independent Living Waitlist:

Ensures timely follow-ups and a smooth admissions pipeline.

Performs Strategic Outreach Calls:

Utilizes resources to gain interest for available Independent Living units following established guidelines.

Coordinates Contract Signings:

Ensures a seamless process for incoming residents once units are accepted.

Prepares Personalized Welcome Binders:

Supports a warm and informed transition by providing detailed information about the campus and community.

Facilitates Admissions with External Facilities:

Guides residents and Powers of Attorney through required paperwork for Personal and Nursing Care placements.

Maintains Accurate Digital Records:

Processes all new applicants and resident documentation into the CRM database.

Conducts Mandatory Background Checks:

Processes criminal background checks, including Megan's Law, for all incoming residents.

Maintains Strong Relationships:

Provides updates to waitlisted individuals through regular courtesy calls.

Communicates Resident Insights:

Tracks and reports concerns, requests, and feedback to the Sales Manager.

Represents the Community at Events:

Attends trade shows, seminars, and speaking engagements as assigned.

Support Community Events:

Assist with Development and Resident Services events as needed.

Adapt Work Hours:

Flex schedule to meet departmental or event-specific needs.

Take On Additional Tasks:

Perform other duties as assigned to support overall marketing and community engagement efforts.

What You Bring to the Table




Licensed and Road-Ready:

Possession of a valid PA Driver's License in good standing.

Tech-Confident:

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to create professional documents, reports, and presentations.

Prior Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in admissions in a healthcare setting will set you up for success in this position.

Strong Communicator:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

Highly Organized:

Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects under deadlines.

Collaborative Attitude:

Works well across departments, builds relationships easily, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Detail-Oriented:

Maintains a sharp eye for accuracy in content, data, and design to ensure brand consistency and quality across all materials. *
