Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility, specializing in mental health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, with expertise in managing staff, working with outside agency for continuation of care, cost controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As an Administrator, you will lead staff, coordinate resident services, and foster a compassionate environment that promotes dignity and quality of life for all residents. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence and delivering exceptional care tailored to residents' needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:



Organizes the functions of the specified residential care facility through appropriate delegation of duties and establishes a formal means of accountability.

Complete and maintain all necessary book work for residents and facility

Assist residents in accessing outside services

Develops, implements and maintains HAB programs

Completes all necessary documentation, according to guidelines, when working with residents, witnessing behaviors, or assisting with residents.

Understands, stays current with and adheres to federal & state regulations (chapter 24, chapter 57, etc.).

Enforce personnel policies and procedures that adequately support recipient programming.

Compile with complete accuracy resident billings.

Ensures the accuracy of billing reports for service providers.

Reviews financial reports for facility on a monthly basis with CEO to ensure positive numbers and develop a plan of action for negative numbers

Work with internal team and outside agencies (such as DHS, DIA) with audits, inspections and accreditation reviews and develop solutions for deficiencies.

See that all emergencies are properly taken care of; while overseeing proper documentation of incidents occurs

Works with Human Resources to hire staff for facility, complete screenings and proper new hire paperwork and employee file components.

Oversee scheduling of staff.

Maintain employee timesheets and paid time off.

Oversee the employment of personnel, including promotions and disciplinary actions.

Completes evaluations on all employees with HR involvement

Be accessible to employees to handle problems and grievances in a timely manner

Ensures that staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance guidelines, company policy & procedure and overall performance.

Coordinate and facilitate monthly in-service meetings

Completes all necessary documentation when working

Able and willing to work beyond normal working hours and in other positions temporarily

Maintains compliance records, such as fire drill and safety meetings

Approves the purchase of needed supplies for the facility

Oversees the proper working order of the various systems in the building to maintain proper working order

Ensure confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times including but not limited to PHI (Protected health information), employee records, financial data and any other information that is of a private or sensitive nature.

Knowledgeable on all pride group policy and procedure, state and federal law as it relates to company compliance program and will hold team members accountable.

PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

this positions function under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:



Must be at least 21 years of age

Strong desire to work with individuals having mental disability / mental illness

Maintain professional continuing education

Must be able to plan, direct and delegate work to others

Time management and communication

Detail oriented and able to plan and carryout projects independently

Effectively interface with all levels of employees, our residents, the public and management

Satisfactory pre-employment physical and drug screen

Clear TB test, criminal background and driving check

Chauffer's license, CPR and mandatory reporter training shortly after hire

EDUCATION:



Have a two year degree in human services, psychology, sociology, nursing, health care administration, public administration, or a related field and have a minimum of two years' experience in the field

OR



Have a four year degree in human services, psychology, sociology, nursing, health care administration, public administration, or a related field and have a minimum of one year experience in the field

OR



Have a master's degree in human services, psychology, sociology, nursing, health care administration, public administration, or a related field and have a minimum of one year experience in the field

OR



Be a licensed nursing home administrator
