The Orange County Fleet Services has an opening for an Administrative Support I.
The work involves the responsibility for performing clerical and administrative tasks to support the division of Fleet Services.
Work is performed under the general supervision of Business Officer II with some leeway for independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work, and in making decisions regarding customer needs and requests and conducting project assignments. Supervision over others is not required of this position. The position does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in business administration or closely related field of study
AND
two (2) years of work experience in a front office performing data entry and maintenance and administrative/clerical functions;
OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above. A higher degree does not substitute for work experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
