Duties
  • Performs program liaison duties to support long-and short-range administrative planning activities for the organization.
  • Interprets procedures and guides for organizational services provided and serves as the contact person concerning administrative matters.
  • Prepares correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda related for senior management and administrative functions.
  • Solves unusual problems in performing a variety of duties related to special projects involving administrative or program issues
  • Liaises with Front Office staff on document clearances, and responds verbally and in written format, to requests for information requiring coordination with other agency offices.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: GS-09 - You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: (a) applying principles of management and organization including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations; (b) drafting correspondence, recommendations, reports, and/or memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues; (c) using office technology and being familiar with computer programs including but not limited to Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional, video conference scheduling, and correspondence tracking systems.

GS-11 - You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. A.
Master\'s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D., if related.
OR
B.
One Year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal Service. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: (a) applying principles of management and organization including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations; (b) drafting correspondence, recommendations, reports, and/or memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues; (c) using office technology and being familiar with computer programs including but not limited to Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional, video conference scheduling, and correspondence tracking systems.
OR
C. A combination of education and experience.

For the GS-11: You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in federal service. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position include: (a) performing program liaison duties to support long-and-short-range administrative planning activities; (b) applying administrative policies in order to maintain various systems in support of senior officials\' travel, time and attendance, scheduling, and correspondence tracking; (c) using office technology and being familiar with computer programs including but not limited to Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional, video conference scheduling, and correspondence tracking systems.

OR
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; OR an appropriate combination of specialized experience and graduate level education (beyond what is required for a master\'s degree, i.e., more than 36 semester hours leading to a Ph.D.).
