Job Description


The Administrative Specialist will provide direct administrative support to a federal client for programmatic and executive support services in support of their offices. They will interact and work with office staff, vendors, executives, and other agency offices. Responsibilities:

  • Handle Personnel and Payroll Support
  • Provide Administrative Management support
  • Assist with Procurement and Financial Support
  • Book and handle travel management support
  • Schedule and arrange in-person and virtual meetings, including collecting agenda items and taking notes
  • Coordinating logistics for retreats, special meetings, and team gatherings
  • Provide technical assistance with Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Create Help Desk tickets for staff
  • Prepare administrative forms for staff, such as trainings and reimbursements
  • Manage office inventory and supplies
  • Assist with staff recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
  • Maintain and organizing a record filing system and document tracking database
  • Prepare, edit, and review memoranda, policy papers, correspondence, and other documents
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • A college diploma, or equivalent, is preferred
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant position
  • Minimum of 1 year experience managing highly sensitive, confidential information
  • Minimum of 1 year experience researching and identifying solutions
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with preparing an Office Budget
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of time management
  • Excellent organization and prioritization
  • Excellent customer service skills
This position requires being present in-office. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits:
