Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree. One year of administrative experience in procurement, budget preparation, contract management or related experience is required. Additional administrative experience in procurement, budget preparation, contract management or related experience may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.

Recruitment Notes

This is a professional position that will provide administrative and contractual support. This position is responsible for processing invoices for the Division which includes but is not limited to small equipment, parts, canal maintenance and janitorial invoices. This position follows and tracks outstanding invoices and outstanding repairs; issues work orders in accordance with the scope of work; maintains tracking logs for all the General Aviation Division\xe2\x80\x99s heavy and small equipment, as well as other key performance metrics. This position will assist with conducting walk-throughs and inspections; will assist in managing and performing audits of the Janitorial Contract, Ground Maintenance Contract, and the Canal Maintenance Contract to ensure contractual specifications and compliance criteria are met.

Airport Security

Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
