Organization: ABSMC-Summit Campus Position Overview: The Administrative House Supervisor (HS) supervises all hospital operations and is the programming representative of Hospital Administration in collaboration with the Nurse Managers after regular business hours, holidays, and weekends and when their support is needed for management relief. The Administrative House Supervisor works collaboratively with Nurse Managers and the Administrator On-Call on various projects as well as facilitates process and procedure, enforces policy and trouble shoots barriers to optimal patient care delivery. The HS will nurture a just culture by being collegial with all stakeholders both internal and external. The HS will support educational initiatives and attaining quality and core measure goals for the system. The HS will do anything required to optimize the patient experience and family relations. The HS will round with staff and physicians for throughput strategies to decrease length of stay, expedite admissions and offload the emergency department and PACU however possible through appropriate resource allocation. This position collaborates and frequently communicates with both the Ashby and Merritt campuses to plan for staffing and resource management. The HS will participate in LEAN initiatives including Kaizen events for standard work design as appropriate. The HS will work closely with the Resource Planning Center personnel to keep the hospital staffed appropriately and efficiently. HS will actively communicate any human resource issues with the unit manager and the Director of Operations Support. Will support patient placement and through put needed. : EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN Preferred

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
RN-Registered Nurse of California
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

EXPERIENCE Previous clinical experience in area of expertise, minimum 3-5 yrs experience in an acute care setting Required. Must have working knowledge of TJC and CMS Standards. Must have knowledge of emergency preparedness and response policies and procedures. Prefer ED or Critical Care background.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of principles and practices of nursing for all inpatient settings, emergency departments, surgical services and ambulatory care settings.
Demonstrated knowledge of all regulatory requirements, including the Joint Commission, Department of Health Services, Title 22, CMA, and OSHA.
Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and nursing standards of patient care.
Must be well versed in hospital and medical staff organization and structure; fluent in medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures.
Knowledge of policies and procedures required to access Pharmacy and dispense drugs during hours when the Pharmacy is closed.
Proven successful experience with physician relations, supervision, personnel management, and management within a complex environment.
Conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills in a complex environment are required.

PAY RANGE
$88.75 - $117.15 / Hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
