Position Summary

The Center for Cyber Safety and Education (Center) is undergoing a transformation to significantly increase its scope of impact. The purpose of this role is to support the development and execution of administrative processes that will help the Center achieve scale. At the start of this role, there will be a major focus on database management and helping the Center to set up its database and enter records. After this initial phase, responsibilities will focus more on coordinating development and volunteer activities. Given the Center\xe2\x80\x99s projected growth, there will be opportunities for professional development and potential career progression into areas of development, communications, and/or program management, based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s aptitudes and interests, as well as the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development activities
  • Responsible for the collection, updating, and maintenance of all donor and prospect information in the database, including the oversight of all gift entries and the accuracy of those entries
  • Ensure proper and timely donor recognition and stewardship, as well as assist with the creation of stewardship plans
  • Oversee the monthly donor program as part of the annual giving program
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on all campaign activity
  • Coordinate volunteer activities
  • Responsible for the collection, updating, and maintenance of all volunteer information in the database
  • Interface with volunteers, providing and collecting forms, as well as answering questions
  • Assist with creating and publishing communications for volunteers through email, web, and social media
  • Assist with processing collaboration agreements
  • Support the Associate Program Director, as needed
  • Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Qualifications
  • While a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred, we value diverse forms of knowledge and skills and will consider relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in nonprofit, corporate social responsibility or related field, in roles such as database administration or volunteer management
  • Database experience, such as SalesForce
  • Professional association or program management experience a plus
