Job Summary
Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing the Chair's daily schedule, travel and meeting arrangements; document creation (presentations, communications, meeting minutes) and record retention; operational coordinator for key strategic-operational meetings as assigned; assist the Office of the Chair with daily operations and special projects; and service excellence.
Individual must have solid communication (oral and written), resource and organizational management, and interpersonal skills. Other key success factors include emotional intelligence, servant leadership, adaptability, creativity and innovation, resilience, and being politically and technologically savvy.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Office applications - Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, One Note. Administrative and scheduling experience; organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking.

Prefer experience in a hospital/medical center/college administration environment.
