The Division of Administration/Office of State Buildings has a vacancy. This job title has an assigned pay grade of AS-611.
The Office of State Buildings is responsible for the operations and maintenance of over 41 State buildings. This position is responsible for property control, inventory control and warehouse management for the Office of State Buildings.

The Division of Administration is the state government's management arm and the hub of its financial operations. Division offices perform a wide variety of activities including the following:
Overseeing the state's capital construction program
Working to provide state and federal grants for community development
Development of the state budget
Providing technology services
Giving agencies guidance in the state purchasing and contracting process as they seek goods and services
Administering a program that provides federal funds to help Louisiana residents recover from a series of devastating hurricanes
Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
Manage the acquisition, transfer, disposition, and control of all movable property, vehicles, and expendable supplies for the agency, including out-of-town offices.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise annual, semi-annual, and periodic property inventories statewide; prepare required certifications, reports, and adjustments.
Maintain property records, receipts, transmittals, and inventory system entries; ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of assets and warehouse stock.
Oversee agency warehouse operations, including receiving and inspecting shipments, organizing, labeling, storing materials, and maintaining required records.
Administer bulk fuel operations, including daily monitoring, monthly reporting, and development and revision of fuel issuance procedures.
Ensure safe warehouse operations, including control of equipment use (e.g., forklift) and compliance with training, safety, and regulatory requirements.
