Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
------------------------------------
Job Duties:
Maintain the master database system, which contains essential demographic and medical information for all residents in facility. Make data entries daily and prepares a daily census report. File pertinent medical information in the active medical record.
Serve as a Payroll Manager and Timekeeper with entering payroll entries into Payroll System. Review schedules, leave slips, call-in slips, accrual slips, Physician Statements, etc. for accuracy. Identify inaccuracies and forward to the appropriate supervisor(s) for action and corrections.
Process all residents for admission to the facility. Prepare required forms for the active medical record maintained on nursing unit. Meet with resident and/or authorized representative to complete all of the necessary forms.
Process all discharges for the facility. Audit to close the record to ensure that all required information is present.
Prepare medical record information for release to the resident, an authorized representative or any other outside entity when an official request is made per Policy and Procedure.
