Objectives

1. Administer OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour training courses, ensuring compliance with OSHA and IACET standards.

2. Facilitate 4-hour Flagger Certification and scaffold user training to meet NYC regulatory requirements.

3. Coordinate training schedules for in-person and virtual sessions via platforms like Zoom, ensuring seamless delivery.

4. Maintain accurate records of training certifications, attendance, and quiz scores for compliance and reporting.

5. Develop engaging training materials, including presentations and handouts, tailored to diverse audiences.

6. Collaborate with site supervisors to schedule training sessions that align with project timelines.

7. Monitor participant engagement and comprehension, adjusting delivery to maximize learning outcomes.

8. Stay updated on OSHA regulations and NYC SST requirements to ensure training content is current.

9. Provide exceptional customer service to trainees, addressing questions and fostering a positive learning environment.

10. Support marketing efforts by promoting training programs to clients and industry partners.

Competencies

Strong presentation and facilitation skills to engage diverse groups of learners. Exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules, records, and training logistics. Ability to adapt training delivery to accommodate different learning styles. Proficiency in virtual platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite for training administration. Clear communication skills to convey complex safety concepts in an accessible way. Proactive problem-solving to address scheduling conflicts or participant needs.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in education, occupational safety, or related field is a plus. 1+ years of experience in training coordination, adult education, or construction safety. Familiarity with OSHA training standards and NYC SST requirements is preferred. Passion for teaching and a willingness to grow in the role are critical.

Physical Requirements

Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to training sites or construction projects. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during training sessions. Minimal lifting of training materials (up to 15 pounds) may be required.
