JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to the General Manager of our hotel. The role involves managing administrative duties and acting as a liaison between the General Manager and other departments within the hotel.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain the General Manager\'s calendar, scheduling appointments, and meetings
  • Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other correspondence on behalf of the General Manager
  • Act as the first point of contact for inquiries and messages meant for the General Manager
  • Assist in managing budget and accounts payable/receivable for the hotel
  • Facilitate communication with other departments, overseeing and tracking action items to ensure they are completed
  • Plan and execute events on behalf of the General Manager, including meetings, conferences, and dinners
  • Maintain an organized filing system and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information
  • Attend meetings, take notes and distribute minutes to appropriate stakeholders as required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a team player.
