Summary :

The Administrative Assistant provides departmental clerical and customer service support functions using organizational, relational, and computer skills to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Provides customer service by responding to frequent and potentially complex questions from internal and external customers in a timely, positive, and professional manner. 2. Assists in supporting daily department work flow through effective coordination, communication, and prioritization of department activities. 3. Conducts data entry and report generation per department procedures and protocols, identifies trends, and escalates issues. 4. Performs administrative duties as assigned, such as filing, ordering office supplies, and sorting and distributing mail. QUALIFICATIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2 High school diploma or GED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance \xe2\x80\xa2 Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK ENVIRONMENT: \xe2\x80\xa2 Normally works in climate controlled work environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Frequent sitting with movement throughout work space \xe2\x80\xa2 Occasional high noise level in work environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents \xe2\x80\xa2 Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients \xe2\x80\xa2 Use of computers throughout the work day \xe2\x80\xa2 Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
