Job Description

The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our front office team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced sports environment and enjoys supporting a variety of operational functions.



The Administrative Assistant will serve as the central support resource for the organization, assisting with front-desk operations, basic accounting tasks, and human resources support. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:




Front Desk & Office Administration


Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, partners, and fans; greet guests and manage phone and email inquiries. Assists with daily front office operations, including mail distribution, and maintaining office supplies.

Sales Support



Assist with singlegame ticket sales both over the phone and in person. Provide customer service support during peak sales periods and special events.

Accounting Assistance



Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice tracking and expense documentation. Help maintain organized financial records and support periodic reporting. Collaborate with the finance team on administrative accounting tasks.

Human Resources Support



Assist with onboarding paperwork and maintaining employee files. Support HR with scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing newhire materials. Help ensure compliance with internal policies and organizational procedures.

Qualifications:



Previous administrative experience preferred; experience in sports or entertainment settings is a plus. Strong organizational, timemanagement, and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with QuickBooks and Paychex is an advantage. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Customerfocused attitude with flexibility to assist during game days and special events which may include an occasional holiday, evening, or weekend shift.
