Job Description

The Administrative Assistant for the Development Team will provide essential support in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the department. This role in the Not For Profit industry is ideal for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Provide administrative support to the Development Team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for fundraising and donor engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor information and contributions in the database.
  • Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Handle incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
  • Support grant application processes by gathering necessary documents and information.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and office management tasks.

Must be able to work on-site in Harlem, NY.Previous experience in Development and Admin is preferred.
  • Previous administrative or development experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, & Blackbaud) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Harlem, NY.
  • Commit to the assignment from now until June 2026, could extend.
