We are looking for a sales administrator with excellent telephone and admin skills to join our sales team at our head office in Brea, California. Tasks will range from order entry and quoting customers to logistics and administration such as paperwork collation and filing in any area of the sales order process from sourcing to shipments. This role is full time, working Monday to Friday daytime shift in our Brea offices, and will report to the Inside Sales Manager. There will be daily use of a computer including use of all Microsoft Office packages including email and extensive use of our own ERP system (Epicor Prophet21) and our cloud based VOIP phone system. Candidates must have at least 1 year of prior office experience and be fully proficient with the use of email, Microsoft packages and in the use of a keyboard for accurate and moderate speeds of data entry. For this position, you should be able to use your organizational skills to manage your office space and your time, as you will deal with calls and electronic communication to our clients, vendors and colleagues in a fast-paced environment as well as managing your other daily administrative tasks. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. There will be a requirement to learn a lot of details regarding our processes and the products and for this we will provide training to the right candidate. Job Requirements
We propose that around 50% of this position will be work on the telephone
Dealing with all areas and all levels of the business internally
Making/taking of calls from and to vendors, clients, 3rd party freight operators , other departments, customers
50%+ of the role will be administration, data entry, estimating, quoting
Accurate Data Entry of customer orders and prospects in ERP system.
Daily Internal e-mail communications
Daily external e-mail communications
Communicating and coordinating with internal warehousing/logistics
Communicating and coordinating with external clients and logistics
Collaborating with other departments such as finance on credit issues and reviewing backlog orders with the warehouse team
Updating documents
One off and ongoing projects as assigned
Other administration as required by the department\'s needs or by instruction of the Sales team and / or management

This is a full-time, non-exempt office based position in our Brea office with no requirements to travel. Our Brea office team are required to be on site to support ITP\'s warehousing and distribution operation.
