Administrative assistant in a property and casualty insurance agency will handle general office tasks and customer inquiries, answering phones and data entry. Responsible for providing support to agents and maintaining the efficiency of the office.

Salary Range: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a people-person with outstanding inter-personal skills who is a team player and has a can-do attitude Communication and customer service: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues. Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry. Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain accuracy is crucial. Education: A high school diploma is typically required, with an associate's degree in a related field being a plus. Experience: Prior experience in administrative support, customer service, or the insurance industry is preferred. Experience in educational institutions is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities



Client support: answer incoming calls, emails, and texts. Direct clients to the appropriate agent or department. Maintain records of client interactions. Administrative and clerical duties: data entry support for agency databases and contact management system; print and send insurance documents like ID cards and certificates of insurance. Office organization: Manage office supplies, handle incoming and outgoing mail. Agent support: Assist agents with preparing documents and other day-to-day operational tasks.
