Position Description General Responsibilities A positive and friendly individual who will support various administrative positions to ensure timely and efficient office operations. Duties include collecting and compiling information for inclusion in reports, filing, record management, and performing day-to-day office operations and receptionist duties. Required qualifications include highly-proficient computer skills, customer service skills, telephone etiquette, verbal and written communication skills, scheduling and calendaring skills. Functional Responsibilities
Data entry into the student information system
Note-taking during various committee meetings/secretary for institutional and accreditation committees
Answering incoming calls and taking/relaying messages when appropriate
Greets campus visitors and directs them to specific offices
Processing of grant applications
Processing student applications
Maintaining college calendar
Collect advisory committee member list and inventory
Maintain fixed asset inventory
Collect skill attainment information
Assist with preparing state and federal reports
General receptionist duties
Prepare meeting minutes
Ordering office supplies
Scheduling the use of college vehicles
Sort, weigh and determine postage for all outgoing mail
Maintain the postage meter and electronic scale keeping current data available
Maintain current data regarding postal regulations
Assist with the publication and maintenance of the faculty handbook and college catalog
Other duties as assigned by VP of Student and Instructional Services or President
