Scope of Role
The Controls Engineer - Administration Support will assist the engineering team with administrative tasks related to control systems, documentation, and project coordination. This role ensures smooth communication between departments and supports compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Education, Experience & Technical Skills Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Engineering or related field preferred).
Basic understanding of industrial controls, PLCs, and automation systems (training provided).
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP system).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Maintain and organize engineering documentation, including schematics, PLC programs, and equipment manuals.
Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for engineering projects.
Coordinate scheduling for maintenance, calibration, and system updates.
Support procurement of control system components and track inventory.
Handle data entry for system performance logs and project timelines.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding project status and requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in documentation and processes.
Includes all other duties assigned.
