Seeking detail-oriented team members that can remain focused and on task while working in a high volume, fast paced, ever changing professional environment. While the primary responsibility is providing exceptional Customer Service at the front desk of Health and Human Services.

Salary Range: $23.81 - $32.21/hour

Essential Required Tasks/Examples of Duties

Greet and assist the public in person, providing excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism by answering questions, providing information, receiving documents, checking for completion, and referring individuals to appropriate staff or division PEAK downloads from the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) to the County Business Management System (HSConnets) Scanning in client documents into the HSConnects systems to ensure timely processing of change reports, applications, redetermination packets, and other needed documents Provide information and resources for clients via the front desk and resource wall Provide lower level case information to clients who have questions regarding their case Schedule / reschedule client appointments for Food and Medical Assistance. Assist clients with Public Assistance application questions Maintaining front desk logs tracking daily tasks Make referrals to other resources including community partners. Receive documents from clients, date stamp, issue receipt and deliver appropriately and timely Assist clients in obtaining and replacing EBT cards Work closely with the Self-Sufficiency Eligibility team Attend required training and meetings Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Performs routine receptionist/clerical/administrative tasks that may include providing customer assistance and information, data entry, cashiering, sorting mail Answers incoming phone calls, screen inquiries, route calls or visitors to appropriate departments, and manage customer appointments Arranges appointments, greets visitors, receives correspondence, and handles incoming and outgoing mail in an organized manner. Performs administrative support tasks including typing, filing (physical and electronic), copying Operates multi-line phones, printers, copiers, and basic computer applications (Google / Excel) to support daily office operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education



High school graduate or GED equivalent - required.

Experience



2 years of administrative support experience in an office setting - required. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

OR
Years of related experience may be substituted for required education, however education cannot be substituted for the necessary work experience. Candidates must meet the minimum required years of work experience

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (in addition to above requirements):

Work may be scheduled Monday through Friday, and may include some holiday, weekend, and evening hours. Regular, predictable attendance required Work is performed at City/County work locations and does not have the ability to perform duties remotely. In-person required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, lift objects and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to move around the department in order to perform routine tasks: helping customers and attending meetings. Physical demands are light and employees must sometimes push and lift items up to 10 lbs. to maintain safety and remove obstructions for community accessibility. Employees perform basic tasks and routine work on computers and other electronic devices with software designated to complete work
