Summary


Spire is seeking a Measurement Administrator. This role will lead the coordination with Meter to Cash, Business Development, Workload Planning, Engineering and Field Operations to develop and maintain processes for reviewing equipment issues and transitioning reported problems to work to be performed in a consistent fashion for large meter equipment in Missouri West. This position will be responsible for helping develop standardized analysis programs of measurement data throughout the Spire footprint. This role will help coordinate the consistent operation and accuracy of commercial and industrial metering for Spire Missouri West.

Duties and Responsibilities


Review meter set designs and work with Engineering to ensure accurate and consistent designs for new C&I installations. Review of large meter installation documentation to ensure proper account configuration for large volume meter customers in Missouri West. Develop and evolve process, strategy, tools and resources required for the analysis of meter data to ensure measurement accuracy. Perform analysis of large meter accounts to identify metering equipment that is providing inaccurate data. Work closely with administrators in other regions to identify issues that are common and use that to continuously evolve the monitoring tools used to proactively prevent operational issues. Direct the system administration of the systems required for meter installation, electronic measurement equipment modernization and maintenance. Collaborate on the development of reports and data visualizations for the management and monitoring of metering data. Manage customer requests from large volume customers about metering questions and requests for information. Assist in the implementation of equipment standardization for large volume customers including the inputs and outputs of equipment. Coordinate the billing resolution on field orders with Meter to Cash. Assist Measurement Supervisors by providing information to field technicians investigating C&I metering issues. Contribute to the establishment and adoption of large meter data stewardship. Manage the large meter testing program.

Essential Characteristics and Competencies


Must possess the ability to work independently, as a team member or the team lead, managing multiple assignments in a well-organized manner. Must employ good communication skills and flexibility to work with users at all levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities




Required Education (certifications, licenses)


Requires a High School diploma.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities


Must have experience utilizing ERP application software with specific experience utilizing standard Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Work Management applications and processes. Must have extensive practical experience in utilizing Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other standard desktop applications. Knowledge of electronic meter equipment and how they transmit bill reads. Experience with Spire billing systems and billing processes. Knowledge of Spire transportation meter systems for programming and collecting data from large volume customers. Preferred 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of Natural Gas industry experience. Preferred 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of Measurement Experience.

Physical demands, environment and schedule


Shared office environment and occasional in field training, testing, and troubleshooting. 15 % Travel
