Salmon, Idaho Experience

Register patients, answer the phone, direct incoming patients. Provider excellent customer services to the patients and employees of Steele Memorial.

Duties:

Register patients presenting to the hospital front desk for labs, xrays, MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds, infusions, surgeries, and any other outpatient procedure. Verify patient information is correct including address, phone number, emergency contact information, and insurance information Direct patients to the appropriate departments Answer the phone and transfer callers to appropriate departmnets Sort and deliver mail Print and prepare detailed itemization statements to be sent to patients Work registration WQ and fix any registration errors Work self-pay credit WQ and prepare refunds with the appropriate supporting documentation attached Take patient payments by cash, check, or credit card Refer patients to PFCs when needed Help prepare the bank deposit when needed

Requirements:

Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
