The Sociology Department at Augustana University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Criminal Justice beginning Fall 2023. Successful applicants will be able to teach courses in deviance and social control, policing, criminal justice procedure, and corrections. The department is also open to other criminal justice courses the candidate would be prepared to teach. An advanced degree in criminal justice or related field and/or relevant professional experience (including teaching experience) is preferred. The teaching load for this position is 2 courses per semester taught on Augustana\xe2\x80\x99s Sioux Falls, SD campus. Interacting with students, faculty and leadership with different backgrounds and points of view and a deep appreciation of and respect for academic values and culture must be a top value of the candidate.
