Job Description

The Adjunct Instructor for the Administrative Technologies programs, will a focus on instruction in computer applications, that includes face-to-face and/or online teaching formats in lecture or lab settings.
You'll be a great fit if:

  • Instruct students in both fundamental and advanced Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain clear communication with students regarding course expectations, deadlines, and their academic progress.
  • Stay current with developments in Microsoft Office applications and integrate new techniques into the curriculum as appropriate.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. - Possess advanced knowledge of computer applications, including current trends and emerging technologies.
  • Deliver enthusiastic and high-quality instruction to students, exploring innovative ways to enhance the learning experience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty members to ensure consistency and uphold high academic standards.
  • Utilize course and textbook publisher technology, including the college's learning management systems, to deliver high-quality course content.
  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree with a major certification or professional credentials dictated by the field.
  • Preferred degree in Business Administration, Technical Education, or Business Education or closely related field.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including current trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
