Job Summary/Basic Function


Part-time adjunct instructor of Introductory Billiards. To teach one or two physical education activity courses per semester as needed. Candidate will be required to meet twice weekly with each assigned class, and to teach the basic skills associated with the sport of billiards.



This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.


Required Qualifications


Candidate should have billiards coaching experience, with a minimum BCA level 1 certification - prefer certification as a BCA level 2 Coach Instructor. Group teaching experience, and league billiards experience, especially service as a league officer helpful, as well as prior coaching experience in other athletic areas, or in a physical education environment. Selected candidate will be required to pass a background check.



Candidates must be good at working with people, and have an excellent grasp of the basic skills used in billiards.
