Pamlico Community College is seeking Part-Time instructors for the following topics:

Adult Basic Education Instructor

(Current teaching certification required; teaching experience in Adult Basic/Secondary/HSE Education)

Horticulture Instructor

(Degree/Certification in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or closely related field required; Industry experience required)

HVAC Instructor

(HVAC Certification required; industry experience required)

Marine Diesel Instructor

(Associate Degree & Industry Experience Required)

Marine Electronics Instructor

(Associate Degree in Marine Electronics, Marine Technology, Electrical Engineering or close related field required. Industry experience in marine electronics or marine electrical systems required.)

Masonry Instructor

(Associate Degree in Masonry, Construction Technology or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and industry experience required.)

Nurse Aide I Instructor

(Registered Nurse with unencumbered license required. Must be licensed to practice in NC and have at least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in the US. Must meet at least one of the following: completion of a course in teaching adults, experience teaching adults, or experience in supervising nurse aides.)

Nurse Aide II Instructor

(Registered Nurse with unencumbered license required. Must be licensed to practice in NC and have at least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in the US. Must meet at least one of the following: completion of a course in teaching adults, experience teaching adults, or experience in supervising nurse aides.)

Physical Therapy Technician Instructor

(Graduation of an accredited physical therapy education program and teaching experience required.)

Plumbing Instructor

(Plumbing certification and industry experience required)

Small Engine Repair Instructor

(Associate degree and industry experience required)

Hourly pay is depending on education and experience, starting at $20.00 per hour. Schedule varies depending on class offering.
